Mmmmm.. Good!

On Thursday March 18th bowling in the Westgate Masters bowling on the Power Auto Group team Mike Baldwin shot his 1st sanctioned 300 at Westgate Lanes.  It is his second sanctioned 300.  3 days later on March 21st 16 year old Bret Baldwin had the 1st 11 strikes and then an 8 count on the last ball for a stunning 298.  Father and son duo almost shot perfect games in the span of 3 days.  Dad (Mike) is still beaming but Bret wants the real deal now.  Expect the 300 out of Bret on of these days soon.

Brad Monroe of Toledo shot his first 300 game on Sept 21.  Bowlings perfect game takes 12 strikes in a row from the first frame thru the 12th frame, no mulligans or do overs.  It came in the 1st game of the Premier League on Tuesday nights.  Brad bowls on The Italian Riviera team and was defiantly pumped up during the game and after.  His other 2 games were 203 and 223 for a nice 726 set.  Brad has been flirting with a perfect 300 game for a long time.  Now he's over that first 300 hump and expect more from him.  This was the 1st 300 at the newly renamed Harmony Lanes, formerly Westgate Lanes

Tom Flowers recorded his second perfect game of the year, and Westgate owner Charlie Moore bowled his seventh career 300, first at his new alley, to complete the double dip. It was the first time in the 42-year history of Westgate lanes that two 300's were bowled on the same night.
Flowers continued his torrid pace to the new year by rolling another perfect game two days later, on Jan. 22. His third perfect game of the year gave him five in his life. All three of the season have come on Westgate Lanes' number five and six. The trio of perfect games brings the total number of 300's rolled at Westgate Lanes to five in just more than three weeks of 2004.
